Maurizio Martini is an Italian contemporary artist based in Rome. His practice explores the tension between introspection and visual impact, combining figurative imagery with raw surfaces, fractures and material experimentation.

Working primarily on aluminium, Martini incorporates resin, plaster, metal leaf, mirrors and other materials to create unique mixed-media works in which image and matter become inseparable.

His work has been presented internationally in Italy, Norway, Monaco and Spain. In 2024, he personally presented Tenacity to Pope Francis at the Vatican. Other institutional works include The Saint, donated to the Postal Police Headquarters in Rome, and American Icons, presented to John Cabot University in Rome in 2025.
